A family home that opened its gates to travellers

Mavely's Homestay is run by Sheela and her family from their home near Fort Kochi. Sheela has welcomed guests for eight years, first in the bungalow and later in the two retro-style cottage rooms in the same garden.

The family lives on the ground floor of the bungalow. That means someone is always close by to help with directions, a late arrival or a rickshaw, while your space stays private.

Sheela's cooking is a guest favourite. Food requests are made on a best-effort basis, so let us know early and we will try our best.

The name

Mavely is our family name. Our logo pairs it with two Kerala icons: Maveli, the much-loved king of the Onam festival, and the Chinese fishing nets that line the Fort Kochi shore.
